Line markets

Exclusive in trading software: the LINE Markets are not shown in the Betfair website, so it presents an exclusive opportunity for Wagertool users to trade on.

Exclusive in Cricket: these markets will be made available for all short term cricket markets, which means all cricket matches, except for test matches (played over 5 days).

Main characteristics of the “Line” markets (different from the regular “Odds” markets):

• The ‘price’ at which your bet is placed defines the number of runs bet upon;

• All bets are struck at 2.0, thus generating a potential profit equal to the stake;

• “Buy/Higher” line bets (previously “Lay” in odds markets) win when more runs are scored in the specified number of overs than the ‘price’ at which the bet is matched;

• “Sell/Lower” line bets (previously “Back” in odds markets) win when fewer runs are scored in the specified number of overs than the ‘price’ at which the bet is matched;

• “Buy/Higher” line betting option is colored in green;

• “Sell/Lower” line betting option is colored in red;

• Cashout is not available in Line markets.
